Mitech MHB-62.5 Digital Display Small Load Brinell Hardness Tester, based on the mechanical principle of hard alloy indenter pressing into the sample surface to produce indentation, realizing the material hardness measurement by measuring the diameter of the indentation. It’s MITECH latest optical mechanical and electrical integration of high-tech products. It is novel and high reliable with accurately measurement. With LED display, simple operation, it can visually display the test results to meet the hardness testing requirement for the quality control and qualified assessment of the workpiece sample. Hardness is not a simple physical quantity, but a reflection of the material elasticity, plasticity, strength and toughness .and hardness test is the most simple mechanical testing method to determine the metal material performance. Also one of the important means to judge the products quality.
Brinell hardness test: Test force(F) is on the steel ball with certain diameter(D) , pressed on sample surface. After a period of time, cancel the force. The indentation diameter is get by measuring with micrometer ocular,thus to calculate the average pressure(N/mm2).

l Before using this instrument, please read the instruction manual carefully, learn more about the steps and precautions.
l In general, the first measurement point is only used to offset the gap between the support surface, without recording the
test results, from the second point of statistical test results;
l Machine add unloading test power, it is forbidden to turn the variable load the handwheel, such as rotating dislocation
can lead to internal gear, chaos test force, and even cause damage to items within the machine;
l User’s should follow the operating procedures, before and after the test should be repeated with standard block proofing
instrument. If a long time idle, re-boot after several proofreading, to be stable after the test results, and then test part;
l After applying the main test force in the hardness test, it is forbidden to turn the variable hand wheel.
l The instrument should be carried at the bottom of the handling, to prohibit cross. Before loading, please unplug the
power plug, fixed measuring lever and remove the weight and boom;
l When not in use for a long time, please cover the dust cover to prevent dust into the instrument interior. And
the hardness block, indenter should be coated with antirust oil to prevent rusting after using.
l Start using again after long time idling, please make testing after preheating the electrical components.
l The accuracy of the reading microscope has been adjusted before leaving factory. It is prohibited to disassembly without
authorization. Otherwise, it will reduce the reading accuracy of the micro eyepiece.
l The storage and using of the reading microscope should avoid dust, damp and corrosive gas environment;
l If there is dirt on the surface of the reading microscope lens, please wipe it with soft absorbent cotton or lens paper. If
there is oil pollution, please wipe it slightly by the absorbent cotton with industrial alcohol or ether.
l Should be regularly in the screw and hand wheel contact surface into a small amount of oil;
l Conducted at least once a year instrument verification, to ensure the accuracy of the hardness tester;
